Where is there good fishing?
Right in front of the cottages, off the rocks in front of the marina or the lodge can give you some ideas if you would like to rent a boat. During winter warming houses are available to rent for additional fee for ice fishing from the Lodge.
How far is the beach?
The beach is located in front of the lodge…just down the shoreline from any of the cottages. You can see the beach area from all of the cottages.
Are boats available for rent?
The lodge does have boats available for $65-85.
The lodge also offers pontoon tours.
Is
there a golf course nearby?
The
lodge is building a beautiful one right across the
bridge, but it won’t be ready until fall 2010. Right
now there is a 9 hole course in Ashern (about a 30
min. drive) and an 18 hole course in Lunder (about a
50 min. drive).
Are pets allowed?
No. A deodorizing fee of $150.00 will be charged
if any evidence of pets is detected by cleaning
staff.
Is
smoking allowed?
No. A
deodorizing fee of $150.00 will be charged if any
smoke odor is detected by cleaning staff.
Are
linens included?
Yes. All
the bed linens, bath towels and kitchen towels are
included. Please bring beach towels for use at the
beach and after using the hot tub.
Is there an extra cleaning fee?
No. There is no maid service during your stay.
You can request the lodge to stop by and “tidy up”
mid week for an additional $25 fee. There is a
laundry building near the lodge (seasonally) if you
are in a cottage that does not have a washer/dryer.
There are garbage bins available out on the street
to place your garbage.
What
amenities are included?
Each cottage is individually owned and has its own
personality. In the kitchen each does have dishes,
utensils, coffee maker, microwave, toaster,
stove/oven and full size fridge.
What if we
decide to leave earlier then planned?
-There will be no refunds for days lost through
early departure.
What time
is check in/check out?
Check in is 4PM and check out is 11AM. Please check
in and out at the lodge. Note: the lodge closes at
9PM.
Why do we
have to use a credit card?
-Your authorization to use your credit card number
for deposits or payments indicates your compliance
with our Rules & regulations whether or not you have
actually signed the draft.
What does
the lodge offer?
The lodge rents boats and offers pontoon tours. They
sell firewood, fishing licenses, and groceries. The
restaurant/bar is attached to the lodge and has a
wonderful menu. A sand volleyball area is available
for use also. There is a marina and a house for
cleaning fish right in front of the lodge. Near the
marina are the beach and a small play structure for
kids to play on.
Where can
we get firewood?
The lodge has firewood for sale.
What other
winter activities are available?
Ice Skating: The lodge makes an ice rink
every year and provides a warming house.
Snowmobiling: there are many trails connected
to the lodge…one can ride for hours.
Lots of space for making snowmen and snow angels!
The hot tubs are great afterwards for warming up.
Things that
we bring when we go:
Lawn chairs
for sitting around the fire
Lighter to start a fire
Extra toilet paper (they usually have 2-3 rolls
there)
Paper towels
Foil (I use it for cooking vegetables out on the
grill)
Sand toys for the kids, games
Beach towels (please do not take the bathroom towels
outside or use with the hot tub)
CD player
The kid’s bikes (lots of quiet roads behind the
cottage to ride bikes on)
Volleyball/soccer ball (nice grassy area in front of
the cottage to play soccer, baseball, volleyball,
football or any other game)
First Aid kit
Any spices for cooking
Cleaning wipes (any antibacterial just for quick
cleaning)
Large and small garbage bags (there are bins located
on the street for you to place your garbage in)
How far
apart are the cabins?
About 40 feet
apart. There are 10 cabins all together.
How long of
a drive is it from Winnipeg and Regina?
The cottages
are about one hour and 45 min from the corner of
North Perimeter and #6 Hwy in Winnipeg. From Regina
it is about 5 hours.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel before the final
payment is due you will be refunded your deposit
minus a $25 administration fee. Your reservation
is non-refundable after the final payment is
taken.
Your credit card will be debited if there is
damage to the property.
