We recommend the bike tracks around our diversified area and those around the lodge for small children. There are gravel roads by the cottages perfect for bike riding.
You can walk around the area or take short trips to Manitou Island, Ashern, Lundar, or Broad Valley.
Shallow water is an excellent place for safe tubing with small children.
Each of our cabins has its own hot tub with a privacy wall. This is the best place to relax and have a beautiful view of the sunset after an eventful day.
For the outdoor enthusiast, we offer guided hunting trips. There is duck and goose, and bear and deer hunting in the area.
Our area is known for good fishing. Besides being home to some of the largest and best walleye in northern Canada and the world, Lake Manitoba Narrows are also known worldwide for their carp and freshwater drum fishing. Northern pike, perch, and saugar also abound.
Boating and Kayaking
We invite you to try our boating or kayaking trips across Lake Manitoba. Canoe & kayak rentals are available thru us. For boat rentals or pontoon tours, contact Marc at 204-302-0224. You are welcome to bring your own boat. There is a boat launch right in front of the lodge.
It is no surprise that master anglers from all over the globe flock to Manitoba for winter ice fishing. You can catch walleye, perch, sauger, silver bass, burbot, and other prized fish.
Lake Manitoba area is a perfect place to do cross-country skiing. Bring your skis and enjoy a trip along the lake.
